By purchasing or using Centsai, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you don't agree, please don't purchase or use the product.
1. The product
"Centsai" (the "Product") is a single HTML file that runs in your browser and helps you track personal finances. The Product is provided by the operator of getcentsai.com ("we," "us," or "Centsai").
Centsai does not connect to your bank accounts, transmit your data to any server, or share information with third parties. It is a private, local-only tool.
2. License
On purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Product for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may install the file on as many devices as you personally own and use.
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly share the Product file or any portion of it
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the file in any way that misrepresents its origin or removes attribution
- Use the Product to facilitate any unlawful activity
- Use the Product to provide a commercial service to third parties (e.g., as a paid offering to your own customers)
We may revoke the license of a user who materially violates these terms.
3. Price and payment
The current price of Centsai is $10 USD, charged once at purchase. Payment is processed by Creem (creem.io) and its payment partners. By purchasing, you agree to Creem's terms in addition to ours.
We may change the price of future purchases at any time. Price changes do not retroactively affect prior purchases.
4. Refunds
We offer a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund on all Centsai purchases. To request a refund, email hi@getcentsai.com from the address used to purchase. See our Refund Policy for full details.
5. Updates
The version of Centsai you purchase remains yours indefinitely. We may release updates from time to time at our discretion, including bug fixes, feature additions, or new versions. Access to future updates is not guaranteed and may require a separate purchase if a new major version is released.
6. No financial advice
Centsai is a personal finance tracking tool. It is not financial, tax, investment, accounting, or legal advice. The numbers Centsai shows you are calculated from the data you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy of that data and for any decisions you make based on it.
7. "As is" — no warranty
The Product is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Product will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser or device.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to your use of Centsai is limited to the amount you paid for the Product (currently $10 USD).
In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim or demand brought by a third party arising out of your misuse of the Product or your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the Product. You may terminate at any time by ceasing to use Centsai and deleting your copy of the file. We may terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms, in which case any refund is at our discretion.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Centsai is operated, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of these Terms will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer-protection law in your country grants you additional rights you cannot waive.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above and, where reasonably possible, communicated to existing customers via email.
