1. The Centsai product (the .html file)
The product you purchase is a single HTML file that runs in your browser. It:
- Stores all your data in your browser's local storage, on your own device.
- Does not transmit data to any server — ours or anyone else's.
- Does not include analytics, telemetry, or tracking.
- Works fully offline.
If you clear your browser data or uninstall the file, your data is gone. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
2. Information collected on this website
As of the effective date above, the marketing site at getcentsai.com does not run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool in the future (such as Plausible or Fathom — both cookieless and anonymized), we will update this policy.
Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, page requested) may be collected by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used to build profiles of visitors.
3. Information collected when you purchase
Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io) and its payment partners, including Stripe. To complete your purchase they collect your name, email address, billing address, and payment method. Their privacy policies apply.
From Creem, we receive your email address and order confirmation in order to:
- Deliver the product file you purchased
- Send a receipt and any required transactional notices
- Handle support requests and refunds
- Comply with our tax and accounting obligations
We do not add you to a marketing email list without your explicit, opt-in consent.
4. Email correspondence
If you email us at hi@getcentsai.com, we retain your email and our reply for as long as needed to address your question and to maintain a record of support history.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, port, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we collect so little (essentially just your purchase email), this is straightforward — email us at hi@getcentsai.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you ask us to delete your data, you will lose the ability to re-download your purchase or receive support tied to that order.
6. Data retention
Purchase and tax records are retained for the period required by applicable law (typically up to 7 years in the United States). Support correspondence is retained for up to 3 years unless we agree to delete it sooner.
7. Children
Centsai is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. International transfers
Centsai operates as a small independent business. Some of our service providers (such as Creem and Stripe) may process data in jurisdictions outside your own. By purchasing Centsai you consent to this transfer for the purpose of completing the transaction.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where reasonably possible, notify customers of record via email. Continued use of the site or product after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
